The ancient Taoists were renowned for their study of the arts of health and longevity. The gentle movements of Taoist Tai Chi convey the essence of this tradition to the modern world. Come experience one of their classes for yourself and discover a genuine path for health and tranquility.
 
Nia - Where Dance and Fitness Meet

Nia (pronounced "nee-ah) is a revolutionary and fun fitness regime that replaces the idea of punishment with pleasure - it's where fitness meets dance. It's catching like wildfire around the world, and now you can try it out right here in Perth, with Susan Bennet, a retired ballerina who has recently moved to this area. Nia is to exercise what holistic medicine is to health.
 
Awareness Through Movement®

Join with Christine Graves, local musician and teacher, as she conducts an introductory
Awareness Through Movement® class, based on the Feldenkrais Method®. It's a gentle and pleasurable lesson geared for for all levels and interests.
 
Qigong in the Park
Saturday from 4:00 to 5:00
Qigong (pronounced Chee Kung) is an ancient Chinese health exercise that is widely practiced in China as a form of preventative medicine and to treat medical conditions. Qigong combines meditation and movement to improve breathing, posture, and range of movement, as well as to facilitate relaxation and focus the mind. Join with Sue Cavanagh and Christine Edmundson as they guide you through a Qigong session.
