We had a terrific festival this year with a stellar line up. The festival committee would like to thank you all for attending and keeping the festival as vibrant as it is. A special thank you to all of our volunteers who once again showed up and helped make ours the best FREE music festival to be found anywhere. The Stewart Park Festival is one of the premiere music festivals in Canada. Find out why music lovers and musicians make our festival their summer destination. You can expect to hear a terrific mix of country, folk, rock and, blues and world music on our stage in beautiful Stewart Park.

There are no tickets. Our music festival is absolutely free! The Stewart Park Festival is organized and run by a dedicated group of volunteers who meet year round to make the festival happen. There is a $20 charge for an after hours button that gets you into every after hours venue for the entire weekend. You can pick your button up at the park, we do not sell them in advance.

You can come for the music but you will discover much more. We have a group of topnotch artist who display everything from custom carvings, clothes and jewellry to paintings and blacksmithing. Your children will love the face painting, workshops, live performances and swimming in the beautiful Tay River. Food vendors will keep you happy and you might want a quick massage while you are here. Perth itself is a shoppers paradise with a wide range of products and services dispayed in our classic heritage architecture.

Volunteers: There will be a training and sign up session on July 15th in the council
Chambers in the town hall at 7:00 p.m.

WHAT'S NEW THIS YEAR
The Stewart Park Festival is already one of the premiere music festivals in the province and it just got better. We have the usual incredible mainstage line up for you, talented artisans and terrific workshops. This year we have expanded and improved our after hours venues with four new additions, all within easy walking distance of the park. Here they are:

  • Crystal Palace is located directly across from the park in the Tay Basin. This is the showpeice of our downtown area and will be one of the main after hours locations. It has a capacity of approximately 250 people and will also serve as the festival patio throughout the weekend.
  • Studio Theatre is a 200 soft seat theatre just up the road from the Crystal Palace and directly across from the park. It will be an all ages venue for Friday and Saturday night
  • Stone Cellar which has just recently opened offers a relaxed upscale atmosphere in the centre of town
  • Mexi Cali rosa's is a long time venue and one of the most popular destinations. It offers an intimate setting right on the river. 
  • O'Reilly's is one of our main venues. It is located one block up from the park and has great atmosphere
  • Perth Restaurant is a new venue this year. It offers a large facility with several rooms all open to the performance area. We look forward to their shows.
  • Crown Restaurant is also new this year although it is a well known local music venue. It is a beautiful British Pub with great atmosphere.

$20.00 GETS YOU IN to all after hours shows. Pick up your after hours pass at the park or at any of our six venues. Check out the schedule and find out about our new pricing here.
